My VST Plugins

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by l0calh05t, Mar 25, 2009.

  1. Hey everyone, I sometimes write VST plugins in my spare time (and then give them away as freeware), and I already posted two of 'em over at KVR. Since most people over there only make electronic music, I'd really like to hear what some people think of them who make music with real instruments (No offense intended towards anyone who also plays keyboards :p ), especially other bass players. So, should you be interested, hop over there and have a look:

    jsCompShaper, a compressor/waveshaper hybrid: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=246384
jsComp, a basic compressor with integrated brickwall limiter: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=233387

(Since these are free, I think this should conform to all forum rules, if not, I apologize)

Thanks for posting these! I'll definitely check them out. I'm interested in learning to program VST modules, but my C++ is very rusty. I wish there was a Java or C# compiler.

Far out. I had seen that Codeplex vstnet thing before and completely forgotten about it. Thanks for the links!
