Here's my new rig: Gallien Krueger 800rb into a Peavey 215.
Both are from GC's used site, so I was a little bit nervous purchasing them sight unseen from across the country (GK is from CA, Peavey is from MI), but they were cheap and I took the leap for volume's sake if nothing else. Well, it was worth it. Both pieces are heavy, beat up, ugly, and they sound like a ton of bricks. It's awesome. Beefy tone, big volume, perfect for my blues rock band.
The little Ampeg cabinet is up there because it scares my guitard

I used to rock a 400RB with the same cab. It's the perfect rock and blues setup: warm, fat, wooly without getting (too) boomy. Those peaveys were fairly efficient for what they were so I never ran out of juice even with a little head.

Plus it's a dirt cheap and reliable setup. I don't miss moving the peavey out of the guitards basement though. That was a three man job most of the time.

Yep! Sounds heavy, feels heavier! But I'm young and dumb and all that, so I have no problem!
