After juggling gear around and realizing that I don't need 600 watts of in-yo-face loudness, I decided to return to the combo world and began looking. I was keeping my expectations fairly low and setting a hard max of $300 as I browsed eBay, TB, and CL.
And then this guy caught my eye:
The seller had stopped playing and wanted to get rid of his gear ASAP, so this amp was up for $200.
Or, you know, roughly half the going price.
And it's not a beater, either. This thing is clean. He said it was his backup and he'd never played it outside his bedroom so it spent most of its life in his closet. It still has the plastic cover on the control area!
