NAD...Ampeg PF20T.

Yep, love mine. I used to be strictly vintage when it came to tube amps, but this has convinced me that a current production tube bass amp can have the tone....

So SR, you’ve had the amp for a while now, what are your first thoughts? A 20T is on my short list right now and I’d love to get your opinion. Thanks! :hyper:

There is no truer bass tube amp than an Ampeg. The 20T gives me the tone of my old Dynaco in spades. Although I would love to have a 50T, I don't need the power for what I use in my studio.

So, for me, the 20T is the best amp I have had in 50 years. Tubey goodness at it's best.

It is organic, it is woody, it can be crunchy. I love it.

I am having the time of my life re-doing all my tunes of the '60s.
