NAD: Ampeg SVT-CL and SVT212AV

My guess is each half of the 810e going into the 1/4" inputs and the speakon gets the 610hlf. Why? I don't know, but it shouldn't blow stuff up.

It looked to me like all three connections were going into one cab since they're all next to each other below as well as coming out of the back of the head. I wouldn't think it would cause an issue since they're all parallel connections anyways but just seemed weird.

My local GC just got one of the SVT112AV cabs and a new V4B. I'm looking forward to a test drive today. Just wish they had one of the 212AVs.

I'm not a fan of the 112, it's tone is a little too thin for me.

That makes more sense definitely cheaper.

That's me, cheap to the end. ;-)

Seemed weird to me, too, if you and I are seeing it right.

I've got the svt212av that I run through a 76 V4! Lovin it! After fixing a rattle the cab had when I first got it thanks Jimmy! It sounds great! So good in fact I am thinking of getting another! But first would like to know if anyone runs 2 of these cabs and what are your thoughts? Obviously it will get louder but does it get fatter sounding n more full? Thanks!

You had to fix your "NEW" Ampeg cab?

Congrats on your new SVT!

I cannot wait until I finally own another SVT!

Thanks. The tone is worth the downsides (weight, cost, etc)!

Wow, wouldn't expect to have to fix a new cab...

Running two identical cabs always makes it fatter and more full sounding.

Yup

Yeah that's what I was thinking /hoping! Thanks Jimmy! Well I thank you, my wallet certainly does not! Ha:rollno:!

Do it any way.

I was surprised myself and lemme tell you quite upset when heard it but all it was easy one of the wires touching the basket. Moved it a tiny bit and now it perfect! Awesome tone. Great cab. I'm really impressed. Ampeg nailed it on this one. And yeah so good that more can only be better! Gonna have to place the order n get another! I can't wait to see and hear that stack.

Well when I get it I will certainly write a full review. With a few different basses both passive and active. And a 5 string! I will also run my orange terror and little mark III. To really get an idea of what it can do and different range of tones
