NAD - DNA DNS-800 & (2) DN-112C

A fellow Talkbass user has a bass store close to me. Greg at Bass Pluckers in Wilmington NC had been telling me to get a DNA rig like his for a few years. I finally decided to take the plunge. Picked up a pair of DNA DN-112C cabinets and a DNS-800. Also picked up a Darkglass B7Kv2. This setup definitely has the punch and handles the low B string with ease. Even with the pre-gain cranked it stays clean. The built in compressor is very usable and works very well.
Definitely looking forward to hearing it at my next rehearsal.

Tweeter control on the front of the cabinet is a nice touch. Good luck with your new rig!

I've had a older model 1350 and 2x112c for some time. Greg is a great guy and has a really good ear for gear (and killer talent). A few months ago, I "upgraded" the 112s for a DNS15 and 1x210. Bigger and heavier but miss the versatility of the 112s duet. Great gear.

We joke that the demos thorough DNA stuff isn't even fair, cause it sells basses. Nothing loses its character, but almost everything I've heard through it sounds good. I've got other gear, but the DANA amps and boxes are my faves. I'm an old Eden guy, so Nordchow has me dialed in!!

Enjoy your new gear! See you at the shop!

@jeffb28451 I agree, Every bass I’ve ever heard plugged into this DNA was killer. In fact what sold me on the DNA, a customer plugged that red 90s stingray he has in there now, sounded so good I decided to take the amp home.
Greg is awesome to deal with and always fair on pricing/trades.

im pretty sure we’ve run into each other at the shop. Ive met a Jeff in there, not sure if that was you.
I’m up in Jacksonville and make my way down there regularly.
