NAD/NCD - My budget rig

I played through a 500W head and 4-ohm 2x10 cab for many years.

I never lacked for volume. Granted, I wasn't playing with guys with Marshall stacks, but the two guitarists were plenty loud and that amp kept up just fine, thank you very much.

Those early Epifani cabs are no joke, especially that 212. Congratulations!

I play at a weekly jam where the house rig is an Aguilar Tonehammer 500 into an Epifani 3x10. I dont know much about Epifani but that rig thumps. That 212 looks great!

Back in about 2004 I snagged an Epifani T112 and drove it with an SWR SM400S and and Eden. I had some questions and contacted Nick, who responded within a couple of hours. Apparently they had their drivers custom built by Eminence with long excursion and high sensitivity. The cabinets were built way beyond spec and that is why they weigh a small ton. The tone out of these cabinets, though is amazing and they can handle a ton of power. A friend of mine was in the band and he had the same T212 and drove it with an SVT-4. It was an incredible sound from a very small footprint… maybe not recommended in hindsight.
