NAD (New Amp Day) Roland bass cube

I used to use a cube 60 "keyboard" in silver vinyl for the woodshed and jam, it now serves the Yamaha P90. But it did okay as a bass amp. With reverb. Sort of reminded me of a Poly-tone, perhaps Polys were an influence.
I should refresh the speaker. It's probably overdue.

That's a great little amp. I used and still have the 100W version and it does all the heavy lifting.

I was in a blues band playing in a bar a few years ago. I knew the Roland was a little small for that gig so I put it on the floor, up against the wall and corner of the bar to sort of help the bottom end.

The bass player in the band playing before us had a big amp and 4x10 cab, at the end of their set he said "are you going to bring your amp in"? I replied "It's there, in the corner" he gave me an odd look and walked off.

After we finished our set he asked me if it was lined out to the FOH. Nope, it's just the amp, as is. He looked amazed and said "why am I lugging around this heavy gear then"? I shrugged my shoulders and smiled, "let me buy you a beer".
