NAD: PJB NanoBass X4 Tiny Practice Combo (pseudo-review w/vids)

I went with the Arriba bag, too, and glad that I did. Plenty of room for the X4, portable CD player in a case, cables, and a couple of pedals. The X4 isn't as loud as I expected, but good sound and I like the features. Perfect for desktop practice, and as a laptop/computer/CD player "External Speaker"!

Thank you for the videos! I've been wanting a small discreet amp for the living room for when I don't want to use my PJB headphone amp and I don't want to carry my big practice amp Down stairs and back up. (Old back & all that)

FWIW - I tried my OX last night and remembered why I got the PJB

Found an additional use for my nano. I recently moved to a larger office, and requested a convertible desk setup. I was using an old pair of slightly upgraded computer speakers, but was looking to clean up the way things looked, so I gave the PJB a go.

The bluetooth feature is awesome for this! No wires. I use it for streaming music, as well as Teams/ Zoom calls. I like being able to easily reach over and adjust volume when necessary.

Yep, I picked one up through CME a few weeks ago with the intent of using it for a new acoustic-driven venture with one of my bandmates. Rehearsals for that project will not be at my house, so portability is tantamount. No reports on performance yet as we still have not rehearsed, but I like the features, tone and portability so far.

I just need to find a gigbag for it which makes sense. I've seen one on the international videos posted on YouTube, but according to the Phil Jones people it will be summertime or later before they are available in the U.S. I think Chauvet lighting may have a padded bag which will suffice (and looks better padded than what Phil Jones offers,) so I need to take a few minutes to measure and see what works.

Did you ever find a suitable padded bag? Phil Jones Bass is out of stock and doesn't know when they're getting more.
