...just wanted to update this thread, as it strayed into a D4+ discussion, and wanted to close the loop here.

They are now generally available in North America. It looks like the going rate is $560. You can purchase one through TB'er from Canada @2ndBassGuitar who will drop ship you one, tax free! (or go to Sweetwater, Reverb, eBay, etc.)

Many thanks for the review. It looks like the optimal desktop/ portable practice unit. In order for me to buy one at the current price, it'd have to get loud enough to play with at least one enthusiastically played acoustic guitar.

It kinda works for that, as long as you're just trying to practice with each other. As soon as you add a coffehouse, I think you're toast.

If you want to stay with PJB, save up for the D4+.
