I love when an amp I've lusted after for years falls out of favor and you can find NOS open-box buys for literally pennies on the dollar. (And please, let's not go down the whole TC "watts" thing...I'm well aware and don't care.) I picked this up off Ebay and it is literally a brand new TC Electronic Blacksmith amp. In my case, it's a LOT of kit for the money for a handmade amp from Denmark no matter the opinion of their innovative Active Power Management module.
I am a huge fan of TC's RH heads and have been happily running an RH750 for years. In fact, I've tried others (Mesa, GK, Genzler, Quilter, Ampeg, etc) and I keep coming back to the TC as the component of my tone I can't seem to live without. The convenience of having compressor, pre and power tube emulation, semi-parametric 4-band EQ, three presets, and a built in tuner just put this over the top for simplified setup. This amp is a little less convenient than my RH750 as it is a lot larger (but still only 26 lbs) but it gives me the ability to up the game if I need to. "Enough" watts (again, just don't), 2 ohm stable (non TC cabs) and can also run up to 4 TC cabs if I want.
