NAD: Traynor Mono Block II

Hey there guys,
I just picked this up yesterday.

A couple months ago, my band played a show with another band from the Toronto area and the guy had that exact bass head and I instantly fell in love with his tone. No effect pedals, plugged directly into it and it sounded wonderful. I tried to look for one locally but these don't come often.

Last week I went to see another show of one of my favorite bands; Animal Faces from Toronto also. Same thing, the bassist had this head with the original 2150 cab. I was literally blown away. I had to have this.

Yesterday I was browsing through the local ads and found this one that was just posted 2 minutes ago. Called the guy, haggled a bit and got everything for 275$.

I must say that it didn't disappoint. Dat tone.
Clearly what I've been searching for for a while. I've got an SVT-CL and tried a couple pedal combination to get that gritty sound but I never could get close to it. Now it's done. SVT will be gone soon. I'm superstoked on this deal even if I don't need the older Peavey 115 cab, I just couldn't get pass this deal. I recently bought a SVT410HLF to replace my 810EN. Now I just have to sell some things...

I just blew the speaker in the Peavey cab. After 2 hours of sounding great, it started to crack. I'll see if I can save it by bringing to my tech guy. Lets hope he can do something. Those 2 really sounded great together. I had to finish my jam on my svt410hlf but it was clearly different, in a less awesome way.
