It's been a busy month of new gear. I've managed to get by with an old shuttle 6.2 12T setup for years now, and while it's still great and I have no plans to get rid of it, I recently had the opportunity to purchase a Bergantino Forte HP, and it really is fantastic. Articulate, musical, and punch for days. I've heard that the HP 2 sounds even better, which is a feat itself as this thing is just magical to me.

Not to mention the HP 2X :roflmao:, "hyper powered" with a "custom cinemag output transformer"

Innovation never stops

Here's the new ultimate amp (until the next)

Ha! I knew this one was missing something, I just couldn't put my finger on what it was. Clearly it's lacking hyper power. I guess I'll just suffer, hyper-less and un-transformed, until I can afford/justify this one.

Yes, but be careful not to buy the HP2X just before the announcement of the HP2X+ with the new ultimate "digital mojo".

I'm only joking obviously. What sounded good yesterday will still sound just as good tomorrow, and at the same time, it's great to see continuous improvement on already great gear.

Congrats, enjoy!

I do have to say though, the controls do feel a bit...delicate when compared to the genz benz. I'm sure they'll work fine, but I would not describe this as being built like a tank.
