Billy Ray Cyrus ...
Especially his one big hit:
Achey Breaky Heart.
I did time in a “New Country” band in the 90s. We hated that song so much that I we started asking for tip money every time someone requested it. The real shocker was that we mostly got $20s each time.

You personally may not care for Fleetwood Mac, but Rumours (1977) sold more than 45 million copies. 45 million people are not “nobody.”

Even as a fan of that kind of music, I think this sucks major arse.
There are too many bands that I like to dwell on bands that I don't like. I don't hate bands that i don't like, I just ignore them.
Yeah. Agree that I don’t understand the appeal. But lots of people like them. And the Eagles. Lot of overlap there.
I have never figured out Nirvana. Pedestrian songwriting at best. Sure, it was full of teen angst, but the teens listening to it were white suburban middle class. What did they have to be angry about? One more Nirvana album could have had such future classics as- Mom's late for soccer practice, Volvo's busted, Lost my place in line at Cinnabon.
One of my player pals used to say "nobody sh!ts ice cream".
But Phish...
Some people like Phish, evidently. Not people with sound judgement but they are still people with godly endowed rights according to our Constitution. I know a guy who thinks Phish is great and he even went to see them play live for money and of his own free will and he still gets to vote and own property. Yes, that guy is underemployed and high almost all the time but still, nobody put a revolver to his mouth and said "Like Phish Or Else", he just did it on his own. I know what you're thinking but that doesn't mean he should be incarcerated under today's laws. We tried to have an intervention but he is unwilling to be reasoned with.
