Aquaculture
Banyan Soundsystem
Bleep Bleep Bleep
Circuit Horizon
Ground Control

Corbin Dallas is hilrious....

I really dig your music though, where can we hear more. There is a band out of North Carolina doing something similar callled Sci-Fi, also you should check out a band from Oregon (i think) named Organic Time Machine. Both killer.

Sci-Fi band name? I was born for this job.

Invalid Link Removed

If you don't want to read the Wikipedia link, it's basically the principle that rotating bodies twist space-time around themselves.

If you've ever seen the space-time visualization of gravity as matter making depressions in a rubber sheet, frame dragging is the fact that if they objects are rotating, they twist the rubber sheet as well as distort it.

It's also very likely the reason for these jets from rotating black holes, so you've got some built in cover art for the name.

EDIT: NASA images have a very easy use license, so they're a great source for art.. Invalid Link Removed notwithstanding. ;)

That was interesting...Thanks for sharing (no joke)

Red Square Nebula

or for that matter any other Nebula, I think it fits well with the experimental (cloudy?) nature of your music, the red square is just because I like red, and because it exists.

If you want star wars references I'd go with: "that's no moon" or "we're no moon", "no moon" or something to that effect.

Mos Eisley Cantina would also be an awesome name, especially for more loungy/chillout parts of the music.

And finally anything with "naut" on the end would probably label you as a scifi-ish band

EX:
Aeronaut
Crimsonaut
Infininaut
Chrononaut
you get the idea
