in the current, (or maybe last...) issue of the British mag, "Bass Guitar" magazine, there is a short review of some new hyper-boutique tube bass amp head and cab from a manufacturer that I had never heard of previously. I only flipped through the mag at Amoeba Records as the price here in Los Angeles is something silly like $14 per issue.
Now that I am sitting at my computer, doing a little bass gear surfing, I'd really like to check out that amp, but I have no idea of the name/manufacturer/model, etc. They really did hype the qualities of this rig, like it is so far beyond the usual high quality, small quantity small amp builder - that I'd really like to learn more and determine if it is all hype (ummm... cough, Dumble, cough) or if this is the real deal.
Does anybody out there subscribe to this mag and know anything about the amp I am referring to? The only other way I can find this info is to haul my a$$ back to Amoeba and be smart enough to remember the name of the amp manufacturer.
