Name that Marshall?

Can anyone tell me what model this is? And if so I'd appreciate opinions on it; a friend of mine owns it but he's a few thousand miles away and doesn't know much about it. He acquired it in some sort of trade several years back. Thanks gang.

I saw this Marshall MB 7200 / 7400 often on german EBay. Good, reliable amps with a lot of power and headroom. The pre has one ECC83-valve, so you can dial in a fine, warm and tubey tone, if you pust it, you will get a nice overdrive.

The amps and cabs are not expensive, you can get a fine amp wit a fine cab for an absolute reasonable price.

That Marshall site is aways from complete. Years ago my teacher had a Bass Marshall in cream tolex, I never noted the model but I think it was solid state. It was a deep sleeved thing 3U high inside the sleeve. Silvered faceplate. Definitely not a VBA or any of the Superbass tube amps. It had 4 or 5 EQ knobs, actually maybe just 2U high. it had 400W from memory.

He ran a matching 4x10 cab, kinda small as I remember it but loud loud loud.

He gigged a lot and it was getting a bit tatty by 1996, so probably late 80's or early 90's model. Never seen or heard of another like it.
