Actually no it wasn't GBC. It was a well known forum moderator on this site who told me this. He really likes 7 and 8 string Conklins.

I hadn't meet GBC till this past summer at the LODO Bass Bash in Denver. I can't remember if I had ever contacted him by e-mail before this summer either.

Yeah I remember pictures of GBC and his Warrior 9.

Actually I read or heard later that Warrior had a 9 string and the 1999(?) NAMM that had a split in the neck. Maybe that is the thing this forum moderator was refering to. I don't really know.

Actually, I think the Bongo 6 is to be revealed at the Summer NAMM. That's in about six months.

Its not hype/myth, on certain parts of the internet it has been known for a few months that Bongo 6 and Sterling 5 will be announced at summer NAMM.

I've be hearing for months it would be at winter NAMM... but you know how word gets around. Hope to see it this summer.

Played like a sports car and sounded great. U S Masters
