What on earth is in front of the pickup on the Stingray in the upper right???
an adjustable finger ramp. that's the Tim Commerford modelWhat on earth is in front of the pickup on the Stingray in the upper right???
Yes, it's for guitar but I talked to them about it being something you can use in the living room at TV level or along with music and it's fine. Something that is small enough and and nice enough looking to be allowed to stay in the living room. They can also use the same wood on their bass amps but of course you lose the low weight carbon. That amp is a beauty but it's not a bass amp, it's for accoustic guitars unfortunately
I think this pedal has not been announced yet, it's interesting:
Yes, I can imagine my wife prefering this to my current rig in the living-room, that I only use with the master volume at 1.Yes, it's for guitar but I talked to them about it being something you can use in the living room at TV level or along with music and it's fine. I'm surprised that the wood cabs of GR Bass are not more popular, because even if they are obviously not as light as CF, they are still lighter than most other brands, in the same ballpark as Barefaced (much lighter than Mesa Subway "ultra light" cabs for example). And they are much more affordable than CF cabs, and probably more robust. They can also use the same wood on their bass amps but of course you lose the low weight carbon.
Interesting pedal, I'll be waiting for demos with interest.I don't believe the pedal has been officially announced but they have them sitting out, are happy to discuss it, and have a picture of themselves and Leland holding it on their Instagram

These are fantastic, probably my pick for favorite new to me basses i've played at the show. when I talked to them today at the booth none had been sold and all were still available.View attachment 7415623View attachment 7415624View attachment 7415625AC Guitars. One of my favorites from last year and back again this year. I was going to buy a couple for my shop but Fret Nation did an exclusive. *shakes fist*

i just swung by but didn't see that specific model. all seemed what you'd expect at the price point, they're selling basses at the booth for $250Did you happen to see SQOE's booth? I saw in a video that they had a bass that looks Atelier Z/JINO-esque and was curious if anyone got a chance to see it up close!
ah okay, thank you! It looked nice in the video, but it was such a quick shot, it was hard to tell! I hadn't heard of the brand prior to today, so i wasn't sure what the quality and feel was like on themi just swung by but didn't see that specific model. all seemed what you'd expect at the price point, they're selling basses at the booth for $250
