Has anyone else heard his second solo album? I like it better than the first since it features more "up front"/lead bass playing. His tone, just wow. It still amazes me that a guy with so many chops always remains restrained and tasteful in his playing. I think he plays the groove on his five and then the lead/melody on top with his 6 on a few of the tracks. Those Yamahas sound ridiculous. If they made an NE2 with a natural finish (I hate solid paint finishes), I'd have to get one and spend hours trying to sound like him, haha.
