A lifetime ago I opened for quite a few rock acts that were popular in Canada but probably not well known outside my country. April Wine, Kim Mitchell, Prism, Trooper, etc.
Only a couple of international... Nazareth twice, and JJ Cale twice.

About a decade ago their bassist George Hughen sat in on a gig when I lived in NW Arkansas. He was a cool cat and a great player - the crowd was a dud but we had a lot of fun!

But honestly, who else here has done gigs with Weird Al? I’ve been on bigger and smaller stages. But nothing more life-alteringly awesome than the original mechanical Fat suit rolling out between acts for a few weeks.
