What's that say on the headstock? "Deluxe"?

It's a '70s body paired with an '83 Squier Bullet neck. The decal is actually pieced together. ("Deluxe" comes from Telecaster Deluxe, I think)

that's a nice neck. i to have an 83 squier bullet neck maybe i should have it on a different body.

That's Bob Daisley's workhorse bass. Very sexy peice of history. From his site:

"1961 P Bass natural wood finish, used on many records including: Diary, Mungo Jerry singles, Chicken Shack album "Unlucky Boy", Uriah Heep albums "Abominog" and "Headfirst", Rainbow's "Long Live Rock 'n Roll", Black Sabbath's "Eternal Idol" & Both Widowmaker albums."
