Let's not forget the infamous amp that they made for NAMM one year. I heard a (unconfirmed) story of why he did it, which makes it even funnier. Apparently, the NAMM folks were a little offended by his wares one year. He allegedly built the aforementioned amp to display proudly in his booth the following year.

And no, I'm not posting it...that's what google's for.

do pedal companies just have better senses of humor than amp and guitar makers? what's the deal?

i think there's a LOT more smaller builders that can get away with being risque or irreverent than amp companies. takes WAY less money to push out a line of pedals perhaps.
