My dream came true and i got myself a Bogaro Clemente case. It was not exactly cheap, but i got a good deal. It is gorgeous in look an feel!! It is like bassplayers Rolex- I am so happy, I just can’t…

I have have one for two German bows - it's fabulous. The trick is to tell your wife you're thinking of getting a new $4 or 5K bow. When she says no, you say, well, how about a new bow case? Voila. It becomes a bargain (in every sense)
They really are well made.

Mine is so wide, i think it is the same body as the 2 bow variation. If i need to transport a second bow, i can easily put it in.

Gorgeous case.

Does it fit in your bag pouch? Attach via strap to the bag?

My cases don’t. So I put the bow in the pocket, no case. Always a pain cause you have to remember to take it out first, then place it somewhere safe, then put it in the pouch last at the end of the night.

Symphony players are not the safest characters to have around expensive bows or expensive anythings. Neither are jazz guys come to think of it. I took my classical bass to a jazz gig and 5 different people hopped over the neck while the bass was on the stage. I counted and got grumpier each time it happened. Now I don’t bring it often.

By attaching the case to the bag or putting it in the pouch you won’t leave your bow on top of the car and drive away (it happens!)

Mine too.

I have no insurance for my instruments. I hate when people don’t care for my stuff. I have a great luthier who always helped my quick and mostly for free with small damages. But this doesn’t help with a broken bow… that is why I always use a case.
