Not a bad guess, but experienced bassists aren't really going to spend over $1,000 for a Fender entry-level MIM Player, are they?
They're aimed at beginners who still think Fender's the way to go, but don't want the average Player basses with the ho-hum, finishes, right?
That's why some people are opting for the Guitar Center Blue- and Green-burst Jazz basses.
