NBD———Teaser!

2021 MiM Fender 75th Anniversary Precision. Fit and finish on this is mostly good. A couple fret ends that needed some love and they forgot 1 pickguard screw. Aside from that, really nice. This is actually my first Fender instrument of any kind. I've used Fender amplification for years, but no basses or guitars until now.
Because I can't leave even a good thing alone, swapped the PG for blue pearloid, installed Fender HiMass bridge and strung with LaBella DTF.

To everyone that played along, thanks! I hope it gave ya a few moments of entertainment today. To those I may have angered/irritated/annoyed….:p

That's a nice finish. I like the matching headstock. Also the blue pearloid looks better than I would have thought. Complements the silver well.

Also also I have that same Schecter.

I love the Schecter. I recently put on a set of Pro Steels and it sounds mean! Almost "Spector-ish". Pretty much the exact opposite of the Fender.

Funny...I was recently lamenting the lack "Fender" tones I was getting from mine. Although I was playing it today and it sounds way better than I remember...turns out my amp's gain knob is my friend.

That is a really nice bass. The pick guard is very cool, and I have to admit I have never seen anything like it before.
Do you feel the high mass bridge has made a difference?

I am Glad that you finally revealed what your new bass is before some of the People who posted on your thread kidnapped it and made you guess where they hid it.
Thanks! As to the bridge, I really just like the feel and look better. I can't say for sure if it adds sustain or increases tuning stability. I palm mute a lot and it works well with my playing style.

That blue pearl pickguard really works.
Dare to be different!
