NBD — junk drawer/rattlecan content

I just finished up a quick build out of mostly garbage and trash cleanup in my shop.

Body: no-name, originally blueburst, sprayed pink, then coral.

Neck: Squier VM Jazz, newly purchased from the classifieds (courtesy of @Mammoth_Bass. Thank you!)

Tuners: Schaller

Bridge: off an old Hondo

Pickups: original gray 70’s Fender just laying around

Harness: salvaged out of a Jazz bass

Strings: Chromes with the silks tinted with a sharpie.

Pick guard: cheap anodized aluminum, lightly reliced.

Still needs some adjustments, but I’m pretty happy with it. Rock and rollio.

It's awesome to just DIY something with bits from the dustbin, isn't it?

I'm the same with effects pedal builds- mostly of the distortion and fuzz variety. It's great fun to actually come up with something that is useful too!
