NBD! 1976 Azureglo Rickenbacker 4001

The absolute best era of Ricky basses ever made. Consistent, resonant, and with the best pickups. They set up with awesome low action, and if you bypass the capacitor in the center of the circuit, they sound like the voice of God.

When you randomly scroll through Facebook marketplace and you find a '76 Azureglo 4001 5 minutes away, you have no other choice but to snag it! A really great 4001 that has been sitting since 1994 when it was purchased at a Detroit guitar show. Super thin neck and low action. Turned out to be all original as well. How about that purple case?!

Beautiful. I have a '74 in a similar case & she's a wonderful thing. Thin & fast neck too. She stays in the studio these days but gets used regularly
