Yukon Cornelius is the name of the character from Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer Christmas special. He was, in fact, a miner....for silver and gold.

Yukon Gold was a color mentioned earlier in the thread.

Sorry for the derail. Again, crazy good looking bass.

I've been confessing a lot on TalkBass recently but here is another. I have to admit that I haven't given MusicMan the respect and consideration that they deserve. I even bought a new Stingray about 10 years ago, played it a couple of times and immediately sold it.

I spent about 30 minutes at NAMM checking out a few of these basses and they all felt instantly comfortable. I will consider these if I get another bass that I don't need.

For years I thought they were too bright or not a tone match for me...then I gigged a 2-Band USA SUB for a couple years (basically forced myself to use it and a MTD Kingston exclusively at that time as I knew the tone worked better in that band) Now I find there is nothing as comfy or that sounds as 'right' to me in a live setting...
definitely try one out...Bongos look odd at first, but wow they play great!
