I just picked up this 2026 4003 in Mapleglo and couldn't be happier! Rickenbacker is doing some great work these days!

great demo,, are those stock strings i think stainless 100's or lights? i had one years ago that got stolen,,,,,, the hardest part about getting another ric is the color i can never zero in on a color. the new bridge and single truss is a game changer>>>

I haven't seen the new surround in person, but I have the Tubeampology chrome cove bezel on most of mine. What's this bridge you speak of?

Yep stock strings 100 on the E string. I still don't put Rotosounds on my Rics lol I use stock strings.

Scott Dasson (the OP) manufactured a great replacement bridge for Tbirds called the badbird.
I was teasing him about making a toothless bridge for 4003 models.

I actually modded a '93 Ric bridge years ago, rather artfully cut out the mute section.
