NBD...60's CV in sonic blue!

Hello TB'ers, picked up a new bass over Christmas, haven't gotten around to posting it up until now. I have always wanted the sonic blue, almost snagged one on TB, missed it by a couple hours, then saw this on Ebay. I set it up myself, it needed truss rod adjustment, it plays really great. Not the best pics, it's really in sweet condition (still had plastic over the pickups!). Love this forum, best I've ever been on, only 4 days until I get to do NAD...really used the forum a lot to help me with that one. -Brad

Congrats, sweet bass. I miss mine. Really an exceptional value. And what a looker with that great sonic blue, dark rosewood, vintage tint on the neck and the all-important ashtray!

Try a mint pickguard. Great combo with sonic blue.

Looks like a totally different bass, somewhat "meaner" with that pg on it. I like it, and I like the white one too.

Do not do what I did...and give it away someday...I regret it big time!

I gave it away to my now X-Wifes Uncle, for helping us out in a time of need from a flood...Though I am glad he helped us and he got the Bass...I still wish I had it.

It is a great player for the cost...sounds good and feels great!
