+1 on the early to mid 90's Stingrays. The quality and level of craftsmanship from that era is outstanding. I have one that will not be going anywhere. Wonderful bass for live gigging.
I have a 96 that I bought new in 96, very solid build and plays great. However it had a bad case of the missing G string, nothing I tried worked so i upgraded to Basslines preamp/pickup not long after they came out. I was thinking of putting the original pickup back in...
Looks like it's in amazing shape for being at least 16 years old! Great color combo too, almost went with that when I ordered my stingray a while back.
