NBD - 98 Warwick Thumb 4 Banger

Great new bass. In my 20+ years of Bassingk I have/had a lot of really cool/great basses. This is my favorite.
Wenge fingerboard and neck. Supposedly Walnut body. I need to get better at picture taking. But I'm beyond stoked to have this bad boi.
Truly amazing bass. Pics don't do it justice. The body is not nearly as dark as the pics make it out to be. Great wood grain and is insanely beautiful in good lighting. I oiled her up and this thing is as gorgeous as can be and plays amazingly. Got 3 basses I need to sell now to get me a 5 string.

This made me want a 5 string Thumb. I bought this online a bit scared. Only time I had played a Warwick I didn't like it cause the neck was very baseball batty.
I don't have the biggest hands so I need a thin neck. Took me a long time to get used to my Stingray. But the tone of this bass is nuts and I'm a huge fan.

I looked over for a single tiny nick on it, nothing. A little bit of fret wear but it's minor. Seller said they found it in an estate sale. So probably in a closet for years. I oiled it up and it's amazing. Got that Warwick sound, in spades, that you expect.

I'm don't really like 5 string basses much. But I've got 3 basses i'm about to sell to pick up a 5 bo thumb
