NBD: a modded Fender Mod Shop

Baller! Love it. Love the color.

I have a Mod P with that etched rosewood neck, I love the neck.

May I ask how you like the tuners and were they a direct replacement? Mine has those insipid backwards tuners and they’re heavy so I have thought about solving dive and the dumb backwards thing with a mod.

tuners are great - I don’t know how your neck is but seems the rosewood is a bit heavy so lighter tuners help with the dive.

Like yours except a P version, same etched logo and beveled edges. Whatever Mod Shop had at the end of 2019. I absolutely love the feel. Don’t mind rhe overall weight but a little off the headstock would make it balance better. Were they direct replacements?

Really like ing this bass!

This is a Fender Mod Shop Jazz with an all rosewood neck. I modded it with Gotoh Res-O-Lite tuners and Aero Type 1 pups (which I fell in love with when I had them on a Lakland DJ that I should have never sold). Super punchy machine!
That’s pretty much my dream Jazz right there. If you ever want to give it up, please hit me up.

I have one of the Fender Guitar Center Jazz's (2018?) with all rosewood necks I got from a dude off Craigslist. It's one of my two basses. It's the most amazing neck I've ever played on anything ever. I sanded it down super smooth. I have mulitple people who have played it and have declared first right to buy if I ever sold, which I will not. I'll put this neck on anything before I sell it.

The only bad thing about it is the clay side dots are absolutely impossible to see in anything but a well lit area. I ended up drilling those out and replacing them with Luminlays. Those are so white the glow isn't even that big a feature, but it's nice when it is super dark.
