Standard, and it really is nice sounding and sweet playing with that J-bass size neck.Affinty or Standard? Couldn't quite make it out in your photo. Either way, with all the upgrades, I bet it is sweet to play.

Got it. Never thought of the knurled as smaller but clearly they are smaller than some. Nice looking bass. The original were Knurled Chrome Dome Control Knobs with smaller pots, split shaft post. Notice The control cavity was widened to accept the larger pots. The J-bass pickup cavity was Also slightly enlarged.
With all the upgrades it sounds as good as you can expect from any Fender bass.
I got this bass because I wanted the cooler than Cool gig bag that came with it (which now house's my MIA P-bass). I reasoned I was paying for gig bag and this bass was thrown in for Free.
I gotta tell you I've never been partial to squier and only recently got my first one which changed my attitude toward them, to the point where this makes my 3rd one this year...after never ever owning one before.
I've actually had this for a few weeks now but didn't know what I had but since I now know what it is, here it IS.View attachment 4481647
The flat top knob is what comes on Fender P basses and Fender Telecaster guitars. The dome knobs come on most import Fender type basses.@Killing Floor Check out the difference. The bigger one is much taller Also.View attachment 4482234
I was drooling over the chainsaw case in the first photo... but yeah, that Levis bag is cool too.Judging by the request to see the gig bag, I may have over hyped it. However, here it is with my 2001 MIA 2001 P-bass that has a 2002 MIA J-Bass neck. I also installed a noise less J-bass pickup and VT, VT stack knobs. It looks similar to the Squier.View attachment 4481997
