NBD...again?

I got this bass because I wanted the cooler than Cool gig bag that came with it (which now house's my MIA P-bass). I reasoned I was paying for gig bag and this bass was thrown in for Free.
I gotta tell you I've never been partial to squier and only recently got my first one which changed my attitude toward them, to the point where this makes my 3rd one this year...after never ever owning one before.
I've actually had this for a few weeks now but didn't know what I had but since I now know what it is, here it IS.

BUT ... has been upgraded with a vintage style P-bass pickup, baseline J-bass pickup, vintage style bridge, regular size electronics and knobs?!??
The suspense is killing me!!!
All kidding aside, I like those Fender chainsaw style cases too.
Interestingly, I bought back a bass that I sold on Craigslist a few months ago last week because I wanted the case. As it turns out, I was really glad to get the bass back too.

Nice.

 so much for preconceptions! ;)

That’s a sweet P!

someone needs to post a non regular sized knob to catch me up.
The original were Knurled Chrome Dome Control Knobs with smaller pots, split shaft post. Notice The control cavity was widened to accept the larger pots. The J-bass pickup cavity was Also slightly enlarged.
With all the upgrades it sounds as good as you can expect from any Fender bass.
