my favorite basses to buy cheap and get back into shape. Not a USA, but has the same neck profile as my 90's USA Fury, with the truss wheel-at-the-heel, and the pickup sounds shocking good. needed a good cleanin' and I got it for the purpose of tuning BEAD, so I have some used DR SS Lo-riders on there now. not bad for a 34" scale. Did a full shielding and bourns pots, the old tone wasn't functioning, and they felt crummy. Also tossed in a neck shim to help with the action. Now is I can find a black guard for it, i'll have my blonde and brunette versions. And the best part, both cost me a total of $130

You don't need 35" or more for a good B. My '97 Ibanez SR1205 has 34" scale , and a devastating B. It's all in the setup.

I like those milestones. I have the JJ version. Sounds great, but more importantly well balanced and ridiculously comfortable to play.

Did a quick fret level, and it's playing quite nice now. Eager to try it out. Works love to try some DR DDT strings on this.

Did some modding of this little gem.

I have 2 P's... One for each of ya.

Got all my knobs installed. Strung with Dean Markley SR2000 tapered 5 -string set with the G string alone in the string pack. Played it this morning for a song using the low B. The addition of the bridge pickup greatly improved clarity and punch on the Low B. Really digging the sound and playability of this one.

Me too. Wish I could find a pull-off for the milestone, but ordering a custom will cost more than the entire bass, and the white is growing on me, slowly.
