Ok, I admit that I've had this guy for a few weeks now, but I can't say enough good things about it! The action was ridiculously low, but just a few adjustments and it's exactly where I want it.

This one has the Aggie pickups and the Bass Mods preamp - they sound phenomenal. I was a little worried about the preamp, as I've never had the opportunity to test drive a Bass Mods pre, but I'm very impressed. Very versatile, tons of control, and FAT tone.

The fit and finish is almost flawless - there seems to be a bit of overspray near the bridge, but I knew that going in - this was a discounted model due to the blemish, but you can barely tell. The fretwork is impeccable (probably has to do with the Plek job). I will say that this bass is surely on the heavy side. Not sure exactly how much it weighs, but I played it on a three hour gig a week ago, and I definitely felt it in my back after all was said and done. I can definitely deal with it though, considering the tone from this monster! I'd say it weighs just a bit more than my Carvin SB5000 (the non-chambered body version).
Sound clips to come!

She's pretty, man. You seemed to have a much better experience with your Bassmods, compared to the one I had. I got a K5, with a neck that wouldn't go straight, high action from the factory, and pickups that wouldn't adjust at all. Luckily, the company was cool about a refund. With your bass, though, that's good to hear, and the color combo is sick, and nice elecs, p'ups, and bridge!
