First off, nice bass! Congrats. I've got a well-worn Power Jazz Bass Special that I love and would've snagged that thing for $200 any day.

Cool! Do you guys do the whole hair/makeup/spandex/muscle shirt thing? There are a couple 80s tributes around here where I am and the bassists in these bands actually play a non period-correct instrument which is kinda weird.

oh he'll no. We just love old metal and try to keep it alive. No one. I repeat, no one, wants to see any of us in 80's hair metal garb.

Special edition Pepto-Bismol J-bass! Nice score, love the colour! Nothing wrong with standard finishes, but it's always fun when someone dares to try something a bit more extreme. A conversation starter / attention grabber for sure. Have fun!
