Picked this one up a few days ago.Love this bass.
My only dislike is the stock strings.Neck is great, finish is great, thump is great.First 32 scale bass I've owned.Very comfortable to play.Pictures don't do the yellow justice.Pulled it out of the box and it was setup almost perfect.I did lower the action slightly to my liking. This one is definitely getting some flats or nylon tapes. This is my second Dean bass and I gotta say for the price they are hard to beat.
I just got to order a case for it.It fits in my Dean EAB gig bag but its a little big.So I don't know if the EAB hard shell case would work or not.Anybody know for sure or of a case that will work better for it?
Yes, the Road Runner carried by Guitar Center is a perfect case for it. I know because I just bought the same Cabbie model and tried it in the Road Runner! Bought the case for my Gretsch 5123 and it's a great fit for the Dean Cabbie as well.
Pretty nice bass - I think I made similar adjustments to yours. I agree - flats should come next.
