Thanks. Im thinking im gonna get a walnut topped next, possibly with the piezo pickup for use in church and on jazz gigs.
The day Carvin offers the ICON 4 with dual MM-style humbuckers (maybe with 3-way mini-switches for coil tapping?), I'm totally getting one!

I'm not sure you realize how this works...
Most likely you can get those options on an Icon right now. You just have to ask...
MM
You're correct. I wasn't aware of that!
I thought you were limited to the soapbars on the Icon and Bromberg basses. I've always wanted a neck-thru, dual-MM 4-stringer in my stable (the Warwicks just don't do it for me). I'm glad to hear that Carvin can make it possible!

Yup, they'll do it but it will be considered an "Option 50" which will forfeit your 10 day trial. You'll still get your normal warranty, but you lose your 10 day "return it for any reason" trial.

The Icon balances very well. It has the most "piano like" E string I've ever heard on any other bass.
Just got my 5 last week. Absolutely love everything about it!
Fantastic looking bass! Is that fingerboard birdseye?
