NBD-CASE ID HELP?

So I picked-up and old "SQ" series Squier bullet, 34" scale. Included was what is supposed to be the original case. The case is pretty decent...but I'm not really a case guy.

I've owned MIA and MIJ Fender basses from '83 and '85 and they've all come with the plastic molded "Fender USA" cases. Not sure about the export Squiers.

I would only want to keep the case if it were the original, otherwise I would move it along. It could just be an aftermarket/generic case from the era, but there's an added bit of padding that's lined at the end of the upper horn which leads me to believe that this case may have come with a specific bass.

Any help/tips would be appreciated.

Thanks guys, I'm sure you're right. I was thinking about it, and besides a 90's Alembic I've never had an original hardcase that didn't have the manufactures logo screwed-on, screened-on or moulded into it....besides the fact that this one is on the lighter side.

The good news is the bass is pretty stellar. I'll most likely do a '51 P single coil in this one. It should sound great.
