NBD - Clement Bass Fretless

Hello all,

I wanted to share my positive experience working with Tom Clement of Clement bass. Tom built me an amazing fretless. Amazing feels like too plain a word as the final result is beyond my expectations. The specs on my instrument are:

• 32” Scale
• Mahogany body
• Walnut top
• Maple neck with Ebony Fingerboard
• Lined 5 string fretless tuned E-C
• Single Passive Bartolini pickup

Tom communicated with me through the entire process from start to finish and helped me make decisions to get the sound and feel I was looking for. He shared pictures throughout the build and I never had to wonder where my instrument was in the build process.

If you’re looking to have a custom instrument built I can’t recommend him enough. This is the second bass I’ve worked with him on and he never fails to deliver the goods.
