NBD - Crusty Fernandes content

OP congrats.....for 30 bucks, absolutely!

Fernandes makes great basses. Well worth it, plus it has 24 frets!

They are interesting, to say the least. ........My BXB-55 (below) - two passive humbuckers - takes EQ tweaking but can be a very punchy and bright bass with both pickups dimed......Their BC Rich and Alembic clones are eye-popping (pics below)

It's close but the pickups and rear strap button are different.

Because yers doesn't have a "rear strap button"? Knobs are different, too.:D

Re the pup, mines is a kinda MM-looking but it's passive without a pre-amp. Plays better'n it sounds but sounds good. Was I gonna stage it, I might swap the pup (but I don't like active, so it might not make a lotta difference?), but as is it's another flava.

This popped up locally. I'm still not sure why but I bought it for $30

The output jack is loose and takes some fiddling to work. None of the pots seem to do anything but it doesn't sound half bad. I only played with it a couple of minutes though.

Any ideas on year and model?
It's been a while since I've had such an intense desire to grab a sander and just go at something for hours....Make that beautiful body look right again.Fill it with new goodies.
