NBD. Dingwall John Taylor signature bass

I had been wanting this bass for several months. This was actually some old stock that the local shop had, so it was a little bit cheaper than the newer models you see online. It sounds great in passive and active mode. These basses are not overhyped. I own a DRoc 5 string and the over critical guitar player in our group said it's the ONLY 5 string he has heard that doesn't have a muddy B string.

It's a great playing bass, and sounds awesome. I know the company is probably better known for their 5 string basses. That's why I mentioned the DRoc. The 4 strings are awesome as well.

We saw Duran Duran at Forest Hills in 2023 or 2024 ?? He was using his Dingwall basses..he had a few. They sounded so great.. plus he's an amazing musician. It was a great show and that band kills. They're great.

Congrats, you just offered yourself a great bass. Dingwall's 4 string Bass necks are amazing. Please let us know how much you like It after playing It a bit longer. Especially, the Neve preamp.

Very cool indeed. I mostly play 4s but if I were ever to get a Dingwall, I'd get a 5. Just something about the whole multi-scale fanned fret thing feels like it demands a 5.
