This is not a John Taylor, but dude is getting Funk out of it! Maybe I should try a four string Dingwall again.

Three of my four Dingwalls have four strings. They rock, funk, or whatever you want to do with them.

Cold chisel, can you compare the two? Aside from the extra string, that is.

I haven't done a side by side, but I have swapped out the four way rotary to a six way in the five string and much prefer it. I went for the middle solo over the bridge solo version and find it more versatile. Other than that, the basses are identical apart from the fingerboard, so I can't imagine they'd be that different.

I'm keeping the 4 string stock as it's a limited edition and I don't want to alter it in any way.
