I am still undecided on the basic choices of the SP/J, mostly economics, and weight of the bass are the driving factors.
I like the mids of the alder, and the weight of the ash.
I would like a medium green, although it is not on the colour pallet for the SP; I'll ask, so we'll see.
The fret board material, I don't much care as long as it looks good.
