Congrats! My divorce was finalized on May 2nd (Can you hear the cheers from behind your monitor..?) so now that the psychotic whirlwind has died off I decided to buy another bass. A couple of years ago I foolishly sold a Cobalt SR700 and almost immediately regretted it.
Trying to find another SR700 in either Amber or Colbalt was exhausting - they're out there but dealing with the few sellers wasn't a great experience to say the least. Looking around online and talking to people I found/heard about the SR870 and it seemed to fit my need.
I bought without trying out first, which I would normally never do, and I have to say after just a couple hours of playing the new 870 I am floored.
