NBD: EBMM Sterling 5 HH content

Today I received a (nother) EBMM Sterling 5. This time, it's an "HH". And in a pretty sweet color. Sadly, the pics below are indoors and don't do it justice, as usual. Major thanks to Octoplus for giving me a great deal on this thing, as well as shipping it quickly etc.

I've been playing it a ton... the tonal options of this thing are simply amazing. I have a Bongo 5 HH showing up Monday, too, so look for that NBD thread as well... I think I'm pretty set on basses for now. The main reason I bought the Bongo was that it was a "too good to pass up" deal more than an actual "want". But, it's on its way, and may or may not stick around. I can't say how much I love EBMM basses... I wish I would've tried them before, though, really, I couldn't have afforded them before :smug:

gorgeous bass!

although the ebmm sound isn't the sound i'm after, these are quality basses.

when i bought my first stingray i remember thinking "wow...now this is a quality instrument."

Thanks for all the feedback. I love the color and the pickguard on this one. The tone options with the 5 way are pretty sweet, too. I also like how it didn't immediately make my other Sterling "obsolete", as it still have the coils 1 and 2 in parallel option - something the HH doesn't. All in all, I'm very happy with my "stable" so far. Bongo on the way Monday, and I'm pretty sure I'll be set for basses for a LONG time, unless EBMM comes out with a 6 string Sterling. Then I'm screwed.
