From the SN, I think it's an '09. Pretty sure the color is called "Black Magic Crystal." Looks like regular glossy black in low light, but super sparkly up close. I love my old P-bass, but the SLO neck makes it a dream to play. I'm stoked on it, but I blame you bastards for giving me the GAS in the first place.

11" – same as a regular Ray
1 1/2" nut vs. the usual 1 5/8"
Unfinished, I think?
Never played a J, so I just have my P to compare it to. One of the reasons I bought it is I heard so many people on here talking about how much they liked the less wide nut of Js and Sterlings. And since I could only buy one bass...

Black Beauty!! Colorful sparkles and pearl looks great against the black .The maple neck really compliments the color scheme . drool
No way I'd send this back over the weight discrepancy. This is a keeper for sure!!:headphone:
